Days 15-16

Hi all,

So some of you asked where the new job is. I will be working in Abbotsford. The Restaurant will be in the same building that was previously Molitors New Saloon. I am very excited to start work there and very excited to be back in my old stomping grounds. I am sure my mom is happy for me to be closer to home and more able to be at family events. Although be able to attend those i shouldn't take for granted. Being busy working holidays and weekends is in my job description.

So anyway. I am do very well. I am exercising daily. Monday, Wednesday, Friday is with the personal trainer. Tuesday, Thrusday and the weekend I am on my own. Oiy Vay. But i am doing very well. The lifting weights really helps. I can already feel a difference. My main goal is to keep my body guessing. Which so far with working night shifts, its proves to be pretty easy. Since my days aren't a set routine. Which bugs me deeply. argghh. It gets frustrating. But For now. I am still at work and done in about 40 mins. So I better start cleaning up. Well. I love you guys and can't wait to start at the new restaurant so you can taste my food.

Days 12-14

Ok. so i have been super busy lately, hence the lack in posting. However, I will make up for it now.
So Friday was busy and very long. I got home from work around 7 ish and went to bed right away. I skipped the gym. I wasn't to happy about that. At 11 I work up and got ready. I went to lunch with my ex-roommate Mike. He is practically my brother. Crazy awesome friend. We went to akita sushi. It was so amazing. It is 14.99 for lunch and all you can eat sushi. After that I went to a fundraiser called chef's table dinner. It was hosted at the VP of Marketing of Delta airlines. The dinner was for 4 couples. It included Ginger Citrus salad with sauteed shrimp, carrot soup, sol vin blanc dulgeree, cheese plate, and apple hobos with house made brown butter ice cream. It was very yummy. They were very impressed with my friends and my cooking abilties. I talked to my friend while I was on my way back to MN this weekend and she said that 3 of the couples are pretty serious foodies. They ranked our dinner in their top 10. That is pretty honorable. After I was done with the event I drove 2.25 hrs home to WI.
Saturday I was going to go the gym in the morning but i decided with my lack of sleep that another hour of sleep was best. I woke up and went to my grandmother's house and delivered some lamb and Jewish Rye bread. Oh it is her absolute favorite. I love you grandma. After grandmas I went for coffee with some family. I had a regular latte with skim milk. Loved it. Then I was off to my dads for Christmas. I know it was late for christmas but honestly it worked best because everyone was able to make it. It was a very fun time. I got to cook with my grandma Schnabel. It was lots of fun. After that my dad and I went for a Snowmobile ride and went to DC's northside and met my brother and future sister inlaw. Love them both. Then I went to Medford to a small bar and then back to Colby and met my aunt and uncle, and more family and very close friends for some drinks. We closed the bar down. I haven't been out that late in ages. We went home and went to bed. I was up early and went to the gym with two amazing women. (Danielle and her sister Sam). Danielle was in the corner "stretching". Sam and I did the olyptical. Love it. After that I went to my mom's for breakfast and off to an interview for a position in Abbotsford. The interview went really well. I accepted the job and will be moving back to Colby in March.
As for today I didn't do much. I just went to the gym and that was it. Slept most of the day. oH yea. I weighed in today. I didn't lose or gain anything this week. I was really nervous I was going to gain this week because of the weekend. But I am happy with not gaining or losing. I will be working extra hard this week.

Day 9-10

Hey everyone. Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I was busy yesterday. I hit the gym twice, packed for the weekend, and caught up on phone calls. All in time to make it to work by ten. Well today is a new day. I don't have time to get to the gym today. The schedule for today is packed. I am going to bed shortly just to get up at 11 am. At 12:30 I am going to lunch with my friend Mike at a new restaurant called Appartif. It just opened in the beginning of February. Then I need to be at a house at 2:30 to start cooking for a chef's table dinner. The host is the Vice President of Marketing for Delta. I am very excited for it. The menu is amazing. After that I am driving back to my dads house in Curtiss, WI to have Christmas with his side tomorrow. But that is another day. For today. I have to skip the gym. Either work out or get some sleep. I choose the sleep. So that is what I am going to do. Love you All.

Day 9

Sorry this post is so late. I was very busy today.
I got off of work at 6 this morning and went to the gym for 40 mins and then went home to bed. I got up a little before 3 pm ish.
then i went to the gym again for another 40 minute work out. my friend susie called me and said she was at the mallof america. i decided to o visit her there. we had dinner at crave. it was so good. i had the ahi tuna steak sandwich. oh so good. and i am addicted to club soda. love it. I walked around the mall with her until 9ish and left to go to work. so i am a little tired here sitting at the front desk. ....i should be alright. 4 hrs until my break...but whos counting. also two days until i go home to wi. i am very excited to see my dads side of the family. i havent seen them in 6 months. but i should ge back to work. thanks for reading.

Day 8-Weigh in day 2

hello all.

its such a great day today. i feel amazing. i weighed in this morning before going to the gym. i lost six lbs bringing me ti 323 lbs. slowly but surely. (allison, u are so right. the first month is tough.).
i went to the gym today for a little over a hour. then i had a sandwhich for lunch. so. i think tomorrow i am going to go after work instead of breaking my sleep cycle. next week i am shooting for 4 lbs so i can atleast make 10 lbs in two weeks. it seems very doable. weekly goals are good.

dream big. so i am doing it. i am off to bed work tonight at 10. love u all

Day 7

Today I woke up and went to the gym. I did some cardio for about 45 mins and then streched for 20 mins. It felt really good to strech and be limber. I am going out to dinner tonight and will have sushi. I love sushi and its actually not bad for you. I didn't eat much today. So far I only had a bagle that i split with Ben and an apple with lots of water. But tonight I will go back to the gym since i split my work out in half today. So it will be nice to do that.
Yesterday I went to the casino and gambled. I cam out 10$ ahead. I was playing blackjack just like my grandpa (love you). It was so easy but so nerve recking. I would do it again with I could sit there for awhile and watch and get in a grove.
But anyways. I am pretty tired today so tonight i am going to get a full 8 hrs of sleep tonight so that tomorrow when i go to work I don't have to take a nap in the women's bathroom on the couch.
Oh and to make things better at work. I play our Steinway and Sons concert grand piano. Oh it sounds so amazing. I love it. Well. thanks for reading. Not to much going on in my life this weekend.
Tomorrow is my 2nd weigh in day. Start of week 2. cross your fingers for me.

Day 6

Feeling GREAT....i worked out with a personal trainer at snap fitness. it was great. two hours of the most intense workout of my life. felt like one of those workouts from biggest loser. but i feel great. so far today i had smart start cereal and plain yogurt just like my aunt judy. (i love u). but for now i am sitting in my car waitng for the security light to stop blinking so i can start it. i am on my way to the casino to see my mom. it should be fun. tomorrow i am working out with my friend michelle. but the light stopped blinking so i need to go. sorry its short today. love u all.
